Alusi Steel
Alusi Steel is a type of steel sheet, usually with an
aluminum and zinc coating. This coating increases the sheet's resistance to
rust, corrosion and other environmental influences, while also providing an
aesthetic appearance. The production process of Alusi sheet steel is carried
out by applying aluminum and zinc coatings to the surface of the steel sheet.
This coating process is usually done by hot-dip galvanization.
Aluminum-Zinc (Alusi Steel) coated sheet is a material obtained by applying a
coating of a mixture of zinc and aluminum to the surface of the steel sheet.
This process is usually carried out using the hot-dip galvanization method.
Production Stages of Alusi Coated Steel Steel
First, the steel sheet is selected. This sheet is usually low carbon steel
because this type of sheet holds the coating better and increases the
durability of the end product. Next, the steel sheet is cleaned and subjected
to preparation processes. At this stage, oil, dirt and other contaminants are removed
from the sheet surface.
The next step is to send the sheet into hot-dip galvanizing tanks. Here, the
sheet is first coated with a zinc coating. The zinc coating protects the sheet
against rust and forms a chemical bond with the steel.
After the zinc coating, the sheet is coated with an aluminum coating. The
aluminum coating makes the sheet more corrosion resistant and increases the
surface gloss by forming an alloy between zinc and aluminum.
After the coating process, the sheet is cooled and shaped if necessary. At this
stage, the sheet is given the desired thickness, width and length
specifications.
Finally, the sheet is cut to the desired dimensions and properly packaged and
prepared for shipment. This process ensures the durability, corrosion
resistance and aesthetic appearance of the Aluminum-Zinc coated sheet, enabling
its use in various industrial fields.
Alusi coating is a type of coating that attracts attention especially in high
temperature conditions and corrosion resistance.
Properties of Alusi Coating Steel:
Alusi coating is resistant to heat and high temperature oxidation. It can
withstand temperatures up to 650 °C and even 800 °C, especially in DX54D+AS
steel.
It offers excellent corrosion resistance and provides long-lasting protection
without problems such as scaling or delamination.
The high reflectivity of Alusi coating makes it an ideal choice, especially for
thermal insulation applications.
Alusi coating can be successfully used in a variety of applications such as
insulated heat shields, engine heat shields, exhaust systems, fuel tanks,
biodiesel filters, housings/bodies and underbody parts.
Usage Areas of Alusi Coating Steel:
Insulated heat shields used especially in the automotive industry benefit from
Alusi coating. These shields provide protection against high temperatures from
engine and exhaust systems.
Heat shields used in engine compartments protect engine
parts from high temperature effects thanks to Alusi coating.
Alusi coated parts are used as part of exhaust systems in the automotive
industry. These parts must be resistant to the high temperature and corrosion effects
caused by exhaust gases.
Alusi coating is used on the inner and outer surfaces of fuel tanks, providing
a safe environment for fuel storage.
Filters used in biodiesel production are produced with Alusi coating, ensuring
durability and long life.
In the automotive industry, the underbody parts and engine bodies of vehicles
are protected with Alusi coating and their long life is ensured.
Alusi coating's high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and
suitability for various applications make it especially preferred in automotive
and industrial areas. This type of coating offers high performance and long
life, making it an ideal choice for a variety of applications.
